Why dentistry?
I wanted a career in the medical field that provided good work/life balance.
I also enjoy solving problems and working with my hands.

At Sommers Family Dentistry:Nearly 30 years

Enjoy most:
I like being able to solve a patient’s problem, getting them out of pain, or helping them feel more confident with an improved smile.

Something unique:
I have been a Deacon and Elder in our church. I am also pretty shy and introverted and can tie my own flies for fly fishing.

Outside of work:
Yardwork, fly fishing, cooking on the green egg, tying flies.

Personal motto:It’s better to serve than to be served.

I am not a fan of clowns and I have been skydiving… once!

Enjoy most: I enjoy being a part of my local community by providing overall health and wellness to each patient. I look forward to forming relationships with my patients one appointment at a time.

Something unique: My husband and I are currently working with Riley’s Angels to certify our dog, Buck, as a therapy dog.

Outside of work: I love sewing and spending time in my craft room. I enjoy working in my garden and landscaping. I spend a lot of time volunteering at the Norwalk Arts Center as a member of the Arts Education committee.
